Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an accessible, senior-friendly website with large text, strong contrast, keyboard support, and clear labels — plus how to tell us about a barrier.

Our Commitment

We design this website for older adults and their families first. Our goal is to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA guidance across the site.

What We Do

Large default text and generous spacing, with layouts that reflow at 200 percent zoom.

High-contrast color choices, visible focus indicators, and clear, descriptive link text.

Semantic headings and landmarks, a skip-to-main-content link, and keyboard access to every interactive control.

Form fields with visible labels, helpful hints, and error messages that name the field to correct.

Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and buttons large enough to tap comfortably.

Printable pages for the steps and emergency-resources lists.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is continuous. We review new pages and features and correct issues as we find them.
